This Privacy Policy explains how Konnect Media CIC, trading as Konnect Radio, collects, uses, stores and protects personal information when you use the Konnect Radio website, mobile application and related services.

We aim to be clear and transparent about how we use personal information. This policy has been written to cover both our website and our mobile application, including our use of Google Firebase and Google Analytics for Firebase.

The policy is intended to provide the information required under applicable UK data protection law, including the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) states that privacy information should explain matters including the purposes and lawful bases for processing, recipients, retention, international transfers and individuals' rights.

The Konnect Radio mobile application uses Google Firebase, including Google Analytics for Firebase, to help us understand how people use the app, monitor performance and improve the service.

Depending on how our Firebase services are configured and how you use the app, information may include:

We do not intentionally use Firebase Analytics to collect information such as passwords, payment-card information or other sensitive information.

The precise information collected can depend on the Firebase SDKs, settings and events implemented in the Konnect Radio app. This Privacy Policy therefore describes the categories of information that may be processed rather than suggesting that every category is collected from every user.

Google may process information on our behalf as part of providing Firebase services.

Where applicable, we will use appropriate controls and safeguards for analytics processing.

7. Firebase and international data transfers

Some of the service providers we use, including Google, may process information in countries outside the United Kingdom.

We do not control how those companies process information once you use their services.
